Documenting a fly fishing trip for Usal Project. This Shoot was a camping and fishing trip in the High Sierras of California. I was tasked to document the tranquility of both fisherman and fish. This was a beautiful experience filled with vast alpine views and wonderful details of handmade fly’s and the trout that they caught.

“In the fall of 2016, we had an idea: could we use clothing to help the marginalized community in East Charlotte? For decades, our friends in the East Charlotte corridor have been strugglingly mightily, in a city that ranks dead last in economic advancement (Charlotte was ranked 50th out of the 50 largest US cities for 'upward mobility'-meaning that those born into poverty in Charlotte are the least likely to break out of poverty, out of all major cities). We knew the need was huge, and we knew our dream had to be even bigger. So, a few of us came together and started teaching students from Garinger High School (a title one school, in the heart of our neighborhood), how to sew and design clothing.
We launched a pilot after school program, which we ran for a year. At the same time, we started the fam(ily) brand: a black owned, creative company, where love cultivates business, community, and culture. we truly believe this world is a better place, when we foster a spirt of togetherness. When we treat each other like fam(ily). Join us, as we use our own gifts in fashion, music, and business, and highlight the gifting in others.“ -fam(ily)

@usal.project & @forgottenlandsproject Fall Colors Camp Trip.
Powered by our friends @rei, we held an end of season group camp trip last weekend through the diverse public lands of the Eastern Sierras.
Josh Jackson drew on his extensive knowledge of California's BLM lands to craft the perfect weekend getaway, complete with pristine hot springs, scenic aspen forest hikes, and refreshing dips in alpine lakes.
Partnering with @rei, campers enjoyed a comprehensive Base Camp setup that included tents, cots, sleeping bags, and comfortable chairs.
The team at Roark posted some recent work that I had shot in collaboration with Seed Peoples Market. I have always been drawn to the adventure. Capturing lifestyle adventure photography has been an awesome opportunity and always provides me with a new appreciation for the outdoors.
